Location: London
£35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + bonus

My client is an awarding winning agency looking to hire a business development manager to help them grow their business. They are looking for a confident sales person with fantastic digital knowledge to nurture the accounts they already have whilst also looking to bring on exciting new clients.

Business Development Manager - Award Winning Digital Agency

The Role:

As the BDM you will take responsibility for helping account managers to help nurture their existing clients whilst also proactively going out to win new clients to help the business meet their ambitions aspirations. This role is integral to the business moving forward so you must be prepared to be accountable for your performance and an ambitions self-starter.

You will be responsible for:

* Chasing warm and cold leads to build an impressive new business pipeline
* Prospecting activity including via e-mail, telephone, face-to-face and networking
* Working alongside the Client Services Director to identify opportunities with current clients
* Acting as a brand ambassador for the agency and helping them to position themselves within the market
* Contributing to the strategy of the agency moving forward
* Making a significant contribution to the agency's bottom line

Essential skills:

* You will have a passion for and thorough knowledge of the digital media marketplace (specifically, Programmatic, PPC, display and affiliate advertising)
* Proven track record of sales success
* A passion for developing new business and growing accounts
* Accountability! You will be solely responsible for helping this company grow so must be hungry to succeed
* Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders
