Audit Senior Responsibilities:


• Produce a detailed audit plan, highlighting any potential difficulties that may be encountered.
• Ensure correct tests are applied to produce sufficient audit evidence
• Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them
• Complete audits in compliance with a necessary regulatory bodies
• Ensure that the audit is finished within budget and time-frame
• Ensure all hours worked on any client are recorded correctly, enabling a true reflection of the profitability of the job to be shown
• Complete analysis of items for tax
• Sign off audit sections before passing it on to the manager/principal for review
• Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Liaising with client managers as well as working directly with clients
• Responsible for managing a small portfolio of clients
• Producing Statutory Accounts and computation of tax.
• Responsible for completing Financial Reporting assignments
• Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them

Audit Senior profile:

• Working knowledge of IRIS and Sage accounting packages
• Knowledge of MS packages
• ACA/ACCA Qualified
• Practice Experience
• Audit experience
• Client facing

The successful candidate will also have ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels, possess strong team working skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
