Internal Sales Business Development Person
Burnley based company
•The primary role is develop new business/sales from existing customer base and self-generated new leads.
•Achieve monthly/annual sales targets and KPI’s
•Develop excellent relationships with customers.
•Investigate and report on market trends and competitor activity.
•Propose new product categories for the company to invest in.
•Management of new enquiry’s from initial contact through to delivery of first order.
•Liaising with the NPD team, sourcing and purchasing departments.
•Responsible for generating quotes and follow up.
•Monthly reporting on personal sales and new business pipeline.
•Report to senior management team on trends or growth areas within the market place that will add to the company’s growth.
•When required plan and process orders to support Key Account Manager team within the office.
Required Skills, Experience and Requirements
•Experienced sales person ideally from within a manufacturing business.
•Technical sales an advantage, but not essential.
•Excellent communication skills with customers and suppliers, both verbal and written.
•Highly process driven with excellent file management skills.
•Ability to work autonomously and make business critical decisions.
•Clear, articulate and effective communicator with integrity.
•Role is based in the Burnley and will require regular UK travel with occasional overnight stays. There will also be some occasional European customer’s visits and exhibitions to attend.
•Pool car is available.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience (Circa £21k / annum), 28 days holiday moving to 33 days following successful first 12 months.
