Are you passionate about volunteering and have a track record of developing volunteer programmes or opportunities?

Can you motivate and inspire volunteers to give up their time to make a difference to people’s lives?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of supporting and developing volunteers. The purpose of the role is to recruit and manage fundraising volunteers to support our fundraising activities. Working alongside our Volunteer Involvement Lead, development team and our charitable services you will recruit and manage fundraising, speaker, and event and support volunteers by raising awareness of The Matthew Project’s work to organisations and co-ordinating involvement in fundraising activities. We need someone who is willing to work flexibly as this will need some activity during weekends and evenings.

The Matthew Project is a value driven charity working across Norfolk and Suffolk giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. We have a vision to reach every part of the community in the most creative, effective and efficient ways. Through our varied services, young people and adults receive professional advice, information, counselling, support, care and education.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, of any faith or none. You will join a charity that has a Christian ethos that puts faith into action for all who we can help. You will share our focus on our mission, our values, our clients and colleagues with a strong team spirit, but not necessarily from a Christian perspective. We offer a rewarding, challenging role with our commitment to well-being and development.
