An award winning hotel located in Gloucestershire is recruiting for a Sous Chef to work in the kitchen
A busy, award winning hotel with a fine dining restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef in regards to the day to day running of the kitchen whilst also cooking to high standards. The hotel offers a wide range of food choices to its guests including a one AA Rosette restaurant; afternoon teas; private dining as well as a large conference and banqueting department. As Sous Chef you will be expected to assist with the management and direction of the team of chefs in the kitchen, ensuring that they are always working to the standards expected whilst under pressure in a busy department and will be required to run the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef who has been working in four star, hotel at this level most recently. As well as being a talented chef with experience cooking to at least one AA Rosette standard you will also need good team and kitchen management skills.It is also essential that you have experience of banqueting to a minimum of 100 covers.
