Business Development Manager- Business Intelligence Consultancy

The role involves:

  • Active promotion of the company's service offering to Clients within the Financial and Professional services sector
  • Products include: Data Management, Analytic and Business Intelligence software
  • Identifying ways of driving additional revenue
  • Account Management, Stakeholder Management and farming of existing business
  • Develop and maintain fruitful relationships, at all levels, with new and existing clients
  • Quickly analyse and understand client's business processes, ethos and ultimately solutions that need to be delivered
  • Ensuring the commercial interests of the organisation are being furthered and developed
  • Work well with the Directors to produce Client forecasts

Profile

Business Development Manager- Business Intelligence Consultancy

Required:

  • Hunter profile
  • Considerable Business Development acumen with a background in selling Data Management
  • A track record of Business Development in new and existing accounts.
  • Identifying new sales leads, making and attending Client sales meetings, and successfully pitching services.
  • Capability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of Clients business, their industry and the competitive landscape. The Industry, current topics, conferences and events
  • Evidence winning large deals, generated themselves (not team targets etc.)
  • Experience selling into financial services
  • Ability operating at Head of Level
  • Knowledge of Data Management, Analytics & BI
  • Excels at winning new business from Lead Generation through to Contracts
  • Excellent proposal writing, presentation (PowerPoint) skills

Desirable:

  • Sold Professional Services

Job Offer

A basic salary of £50,000 - £65,000 plus OTE and benefits
