SALARY: £25,000 Basic with a very realistic OTE of £34,000 to £35,000, plus company vehicle and benefits including 29 days holiday (including your birthday!)

LOCATION: This is a field based role mainly concentrating on an area from Leeds down to Nottingham and across to Doncaster. Ideally you will be living central to the area, around Barnsley, Sheffield, or possible Leeds / Wakefield.

In your role as Automatic Door Service Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive servicing and maintenance on a range of automatic door entry systems including sliding, folding, revolving, swing, telescopic and curved doors.

With calls averaging just under one per hour, this is a busy and varied role providing servicing and maintenance for a wide variety of customers, from transportation (airports, railway stations) to the healthcare sector or large retail establishments – no two days are ever the same.

You will ideally be an ADSA BS7036:1996 and EN16005 qualified and experienced Door Engineer with strong knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of automatic door entry systems, or have experience from a closely related area with electro-mechanical qualifications and experience, and be willing to undergo training to achieve recognised industry qualifications.

A self-motivated, enthusiastic, punctual and reliable Field Service Engineer, with good time management skills, you will have good customer facing / communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative within set deadlines and instructions, and be prepared to work reasonable overtime hours, including evenings and weekends.
