Are you an experienced Payroller within practice? Are you looking for an opportunity to step into a managerial position? Sheridan Maine Public Practice is delighted to be working with an excellent firm based in Winchester, who are currently offering a Payroll Manager job on a permanent basis.

This practice boasts an excellent client base, ranging from small owner managed businesses to contractors. Working to a client led approach, you will work closely to your client's needs and get the opportunity to provide solutions and build strong professional relationships.

The Payroll Manager role will include:

- Processing payrolls for a portfolio of clients on both a weekly and monthly basis.
- Deal with queries from HMRC and clients directly.
- Manage auto enrolment pension compliance and submissions.
- Prepare and manage the yea end process including HMRC submissions.
- CIS maintenance and submission.
- Updating PAYE codes and maintaining controls.

As a successful applicant you will have proven prior knowledge of working with payroll in a practice or multi client payroll environment. You will understand auto enrolment and RTI, as well as having a working knowledge of statutory reporting and deductions. Strong communication skills will be expected and excellent attention to detail will be essential.
