My client is a long established Fire and Security systems business, one of the most experienced in the south with a strong focus on customer care, engineeringexcellenceand a commitment to deliverprojects on time and on budget.My client has achieved NSI Gold Status for CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control as well as The BAFE SP203 accreditation for fire alarms.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service to meet the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.

  • Provide technical support to engineers

  • Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.

  • Assist engineers with commissioning/handover

  • Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates/BSIA Certificates or checklist as appropriate.

  • Handover - train clients/users on how to operate the security system

The successful candidate will have:

  • Appropriate experience in a customer facing environment
  • Experience within Fire alarm and detection systems, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV

  • Preferable time served within a technical environment such as fire alarm & detection systems, intruder alarm systems, access control systems, closed circuit television systems.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
  • Ability to lift, carry and climb ladders. To carry equipment, i.e.; cameras etc. up and down ladders ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements. Ability to use power tools to repair and / or dismantle equipment.
  • Flexibility to adapt working hours to meet with customer requirements.
