Marketing Executive - Salary c£30,000 - £33,000 DOE+ Excellent Benefits

Based - Kent

Our Client is a leading UK energy procurement and carbon reduction consultancy with a proven track record in helping clients improve their energy efficiency, cut costs and shrink their carbon footprint. We are searching for an experienced & self-motivated Marketing Professional with a minimum of 2-3 years general marketing experience from within the energy or utiltiies sector. Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will be at the heart of driving marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Organising market research
  • Supporting the Sales Department increasing sales
  • Writing / proof reading Industry press releases
  • Writing / proof reading flyers and other promotional literature
  • Supporting UK sales in organising promotional events/ seminars
  • Project managing a programme of webinars
  • Bid support, including liaising with colleagues for contributions, formatting, writing/proof-reading
  • Assessing the results of a marketing campaign
  • Assisting the manager in writing reports and analysing data
  • Writing online content
  • Communicating with clients- following Sales visits
  • Communication with prospects
  • Research and identifying targets
  • Maintaining an internal library of bids, template answers
  • Be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks being involved at all levels, including drafting press releases, updating clients and organising promotional events

Candidate Skills and Experience required

  • Minimum of 3 years general marketing experience ideally gained within the energy sector
  • Ideal candidates will speak a second language although this is not essential
  • Experience of the energy/environmental and utilities sector would be ideal but is not essential
  • Relevant degree ideally ie; marketing or business related degree
  • Excellent organisational and workload management skills
  • Good social media experience
  • Strong numerical skills with a good eye for detail
  • Good level of IT skills (Microsoft including Advanced Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and experience of copy writing
  • Can work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • A strong influencer who will need to liaise with all levels of employee within the Organisation
