Engineering Manager - Leicestershire - £45,000 - £48,000 + Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a leading manufacturing company who have over 20 sites across the UK. The company is continuing to grow and is looking for an Engineering Manager to join their site in Leicestershire.


As the Engineering Manager, you will have full engineering and maintenance responsibility for the site whilst being heavily involved in projects, leading change and managing teams.

Key duties of the role will involve

- Plan, coordinate and manage all engineering and maintenance activities on site

- Oversee maintenance and construction schedules, including plant preventative maintenance schedules

- Involvement in project work

- Maintenance Planning

- Managing contractors on site

- Planning of plant shuts downs

- Responsible for maintenance costs and budget

Essential requirements for the role

- Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

- Knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

- Experience of managing a team

- Experience of managing maintenance costs and budgets

- Continuous Improvement

- CAPEX experience

- Knowledge of PPM schedules

- Knowledge of SCADA control systems

- Experience of working in a Aerospace/Automotive or Heavy industry

- IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
