Robert Half Office Team are delighted to be working with an extremely successful organisation to recruit a new business focused Sales Account Manager. The purpose of the role is to build up a solid client base of both new and repeat customers to drive the company order book.

The successful candidate will be given a number of current customers with which they are expected to exceed individual annual agreed targets by cross selling and identifying new sales opportunities. They will be also be targeted on qualifying new leads and new customer conversions.

The candidate must have a strong ability to conduct technical conversations to key decision makers (product and industry specific training will be given) and engineers and will be expected to play a large part in the business growth through the exploitation of the company's market leading brand. The Internal Sales office is a very busy sales environment, the successful candidate will therefore be used to this kind of environment and be focused on identifying sales opportunities whilst maintaining a professional outlook at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

-Order processing and Tracking of goods from Sale to delivery

-Maintain monthly order book by achieving the Sales Team target with new and repeat orders

-Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls from key customers regarding sales orders, technical issues and deliveries

-Rapidly expand current sales by promoting and selling new/existing products to Key Clients

-Identifying new solutions for customers

-Managing the supply of new product variants from specification to delivery

-Support field sales staff by sending out samples and ensuring new developments and ordered products are delivered to promise. Keep them fully informed and track progress of an actions or outstanding tasks
