Siemens World Class manufacturing facility in Congleton, Cheshire has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and reliable Manufacturing Process Engineer. The successful candidate will be part of a busy team responsible for supporting PCB assembly equipment & processes, New Product Introduction and investigation / implementation of new technology innovations.

Role Overview:

  • PCB manufacturing experience ? previous experience as a Process Engineer, supporting PCB manufacture across at least one of the relevant technologies.

  • Experience of NPI (New Product Introduction) ? Knowledge in PCB Design for Manufacture / Automation and experience supporting the introduction of new products

  • To be part of a busy Engineering team, taking ownership, delivering solutions and helping ensure we meet business targets.

  • Manage projects and work cross functionally to investigate & deliver new technology solutions.

  • Support the maintenance TPM initiative, constantly looking to improve our equipment performance / availability.

  • Demonstrate a can do approach to all continuous improvement projects.

  • Responsibility for generation / update of relevant procedures and work instructions.

  • Safety will be your number one priority, working to the Siemens Zero Harm initiative, ensuring that our processes & equipment are safe for our people and the environment.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • PCB Manufacturing Engineering experience ? essential

  • PCB DFM knowledge ? preferred

  • Good communication skills - essential

  • Able to work under pressure - preferred

  • SMT Siemens Siplace experience ? preferred

  • Nordson PCB coating experience ? preferred

  • Tooling design / manufacture ? preferred, but no essential

  • Software ? MS office / equipment programming experience - essential

  • Relevant qualifications, or experience ? HND or equivalent in engineering
