GRADUATE National Account Manager


A rapidly expanding maintenance Company who have recently re-located to Surrey/

Job Description:

  • Undertaking sales visits to new and existing clients which may require frequent travel in UK
  • Assisting them in reviews of their contracts and providing information and advice
  • Managing discussions with them about their future strategy
  • Explaining price rises and new services
  • Work closely with the Sales & Commercial Director to manage the contract process
  • Providing accurate reports and documentation to the Management Team
  • Meeting KPI’s and agreed sales targets
  • Quickly grasp and understand the sales procedure including all aspects of the market
  • Canvass leads, perform telesales calls, and forge relationships with DM’s
  • Set up and arrange appointments with existing and new clients
  • Manage your own diary bearing in mind our clients are nationally based
  • Prepare customer proposals/ quotes using a bespoke CRM system
  • Regularly liaise with top level individuals and be confident at selling into both public and private sectors
  • Attend ad-hoc meetings with members of the Company as necessary
  • Maximise our client network and both manage and liaise with our existing client base to monitor needs and identify growth opportunities and to retain clients
  • Perform other duties as required by the Company

Person Specification:

  • Educated to degree level or above would be highly advantageous
  • Previous experience within a similar sales / business development role
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of sales and relationship building
  • Previous sales experience in winning and securing large contracts
  • In-depth experience of working with a varied and demanding client base
  • Must have exemplary client relationship management skills
  • Ability to deliver results, with a proven track record of delivering on sales targets
  • Self-starter, professional, first class interpersonal skills with high energy and enthusiasm

Additional Information:

  • Based in Leatherhead
  • £22,000 - £28,000 basic, OTE first full year £40,000 second year £60,000
  • 2.85% on all new business sales (paid the month following invoice)
