Page Personnel are working with one of the UK's largest technology manufacturers to recruit for a purchase ledger clerk to join their busy accountancy function to cover a busy period. This position will be based in their head offices in Warrington.

Description

Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager the purchase ledger clerk will involve

Involvement with new projects coming up

Working to tight deadlines,

Scanning and coding of invoices,

Liaison with Management Accountants and Suppliers,

Chasing outstanding approvals and invoices

Carrying out statement reconciliations and checking of company expenses

Bank reconciliations

Assisting with month end reports

Profile

The successful purchase ledger clerk MUST have the following:

Previous experience in a similar role and in an accounts function

Professional approach

Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)

A polite and friendly telephone manner

Be well organised and be able to pay attention to detail

SAP or Sage experience would be an advantage
