We're looking for a registered nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) who can thrive in an often-demanding environment. It will be challenging, and at times it can feel frustrating and dispiriting. But when your patients turn the corner, when you see that sign of progress, that's when you know all the effort was worth it. That's when you know you have the most extraordinary and rewarding job.

To be successful in this role, you will preferably be a staff nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) who has experience of working with patients with acquired brain injury, either in the community, in a hospital or in a care home setting.

This unit focusses on providing recovery-focused mental health services, along with specialist medical rehabilitation services treating Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and neuro-degenerative conditions.

Your role as the Staff Nurse will require you to assist the ward manager with:

* Training of junior staff
* Medication Audits
* CPA and risk assessment documentation
* Delivery of care
* Individual 1-2-1 and group therapy sessions
* Working within agreed quality standards, QNIC and health legislation

Staff Nurse Salaries here are up to £29,000, on top of this you will also receive inclusive benefits including:

* Award winning training and development - Affiliated with local University
* Regular 1-2-1 and development sessions
* 25 days annual leave including a birthday holiday
* Childcare vouchers
* Company contributed pension
* Cycle to work scheme
* Pay Enhancements including 30% on Saturdays, 50% increase for Sundays and 100% increase on Bank Holidays

The hospital is committed to the development and well-being of all staff and provides regular supervision, on-going training and access to company-wide career opportunities. All employees are encouraged to identify their own learning and development needs linking them with the current and future needs of the hospital and each hospital has a generous continuing education budget together with flexible rotas to permit attendance at day release training schemes.

Applicants for the position should be:

* RMN qualified (RGN or RNLD with the relevant experience)
* Strong knowledge of the mental health act
* Patient Centric
* Effective and excellent communication skills
