They currently have an opportunity for a Roofer to join their team covering Yorkshire, undertaking all type of roof repairs and renewals to pitched and flat roof’s along with associated repairs and renewals to adjacent brickwork and renewal and/or repair to guttering and down-pipes.

Within the position, the Roofer will take information from job outline tickets and complete Roof inspections whilst recording / documenting findings and offering appropriate solutions. Erecting, using and dismantling access equipment you be responsible for component preparation and installation whilst assembling boiler equipment. The successful Roofer will fix and prepare individual tiles and slates alongside pointing ridge and hip tiles. Recording and documenting work activities, you will assess and report to the appropriate channel should any necessary work arise. Candidates for this position will supply tenant’s whist customer response forms whilst adhering to general Health and Safety requirements.

With previous experience of working in social or private housing, you will ideally hold a City and Guilds and/or CSCS. The successful Roofer will be able to use the following equipment; Electric and portable power tools, guillotine, electrical transformers, gas torches, boilers and burners and fire extinguishers. An effective communicator, you will possess the ability to work on your own or as part of a team with the ability to build strong working relationships with council inspectors. With a strong customer focus, you will be able to deal with tenant’s in a professional, friendly and courteous manner whilst effectively managing your own personal work.
