Do you want to make a difference to people’s lives?
Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role?
The Matthew Project is a value driven charity working across Norfolk and Suffolk giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. We have a vision to reach every part of the community in the most creative, effective and efficient ways. Through our varied services, young people and adults receive professional advice, information, counselling, support, care and education.
We need an experienced counsellor to provide counselling and support to adults affected by substance misuse. Experience of working in a substance misuse setting is desired. You must have a professional qualification in Counselling and BACP / UKCP accreditation. We will need you to be able to cover one early evening session up to 8pm. The exact hours will be by agreement.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, of any faith or none. You will join a charity that has a Christian ethos that puts faith into action for all who we can help. You will share our focus on our mission, our values, our clients and colleagues with a strong team spirit, but not necessarily from a Christian perspective. We offer a rewarding, challenging role with our commitment to well-being and development.
