Sales Manager - Disruptive Technology Events
Our client connects brands and corporates with disruptive technology, products and services, in order to fuel their innovation and growth. They work across three key areas: Labs - which provide links between brands/corporates looking to innovate quickly and the start ups that can provide them with the disruptive technologies that they need; Insights - a quarterly journal exploring the most disruptive innovation taking place around the world & Festivals - a global event series. They are an agile and entrepreneurial business with a start-up feel; part of a wider media group that is a market leader in the field of innovation consultancy.
The role of Senior Sales Manager involves selling exhibition space and sponsorship to big brands, corporates, tech companies, government trade agencies and professional services firms across multiple events globally. Our client’s events bring together tech ecosystems on 3 continents and feature hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of delegates from big brands and corporates, as well as investors, founders and entrepreneurs, consultants and tech industry superstars.
We're looking for at least 4 years experience in B2B event sales and ideally exprience of selling into the tech or media space, with relevant contacts. You'll have proven ability to generate revenue through selling complex, consultative, big-ticket, sponsorship packages and will be experienced in writing successful, complex proposals tailored to individual client requirements. You'll also be passionate about sponsorship fulfillment and delivering the best possible experience for multiple clients.
You'll be a motivated, new business hunter; an interest in technology and the creative sector would naturally be a huge bonus, as would the ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese alongside fluent English.
