Assistant Hotel Manager

Salary up to £25,000 depending on experience

Are you an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager or accomplished Duty Manager/Head of Department looking for the next step? Are you a leader and motivator with the ability to train and develop a team? Are you an excellent communicator both verbal and written? Have you got excellent organisation and time management skills?

Do you have a passion for high standards giving the customer the very best experience? Do you possess excellent customer service skills and excel in people management. Are you energetic, passionate and ambitious with an exceptional eye for detail? Are you experienced across all departments with a “hands on” attitude?

You will assist the General Manager in the day to day running of the hotel. You will maximise sales through promotions, upselling and staff training. You will ensure all legal requirements are adhered to including: Licensing laws, Food Hygiene Regulations, Health & Safety at Work Act, C.O.S.H.H Regulations, Fire Regulations, and any other legislation. You will support the HODs and team members to drive standards and exceed guest expectations. You will deal with customer complaints to ensure a satisfactory outcome and record all complaints for management review.
