Education Network London is expanding rapidly as such we are looking for passionate Educational Specialists to help us grow our business.

Do you have experience of working within Special Education Needs? Do you have a passion to work with young people and a desire to work in Education?

The Education Network is looking for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants for Schools we have across London.

Ideally we would like to you to have some sort of experience in any of the following Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), Visual Impairment (VI), Hearing Impairment (HI), Autistic Spectrum, Multiple Learning Difficulties, you will be working in small classes with students working across all ages and Key Stages. We are also keen to speak with Teaching Assistants (TA’s) and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HTLA) who are interested in working in the SEND Sector who have a passion for education.

Working with a number of complex needs so you must able to remain calm, you will need to have excellent negotiation skills and patience. Communication is the key to working with young people with Special Needs and a sense of humour, relationship building with both students and parents as well as colleagues is essential for the smooth running of the school and the young peoples’ education.

You will need to have

Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a School environment ideally within the UK Education system.

Experience of /or passion for working with young people with SEND

Excellent Communication skills

Passion and understanding of the complex needs of working with someone with SEND

Flexibility, patience skills.

The Education Network will give you £100 for referring a Special Education Needs SEN teacher to us. The process is simple and you will be paid once the teacher has completed their first 10 days of employment.
Due to the expected volume of applications we receive only short-listed teachers will be contacted within 3 days.
