My client based in St Neots is looking for Business Development Manager with a track record of daily rental or vehicle sales to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This will be an office based position however depending on experience this role can be field based - covering UK wide area. (Uncapped Comms) Fully expensed company car, mobile phone and laptop, Health care, Pension contribution.
· You will also manage the existing customer base, building strong and effective relationships with your customers and understanding their needs using persuasive approaches to convert potential new clients into increased business
· Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
· Acquire clients through a sales process as to ensure pipeline growth
· Plan approaches and presentations and work with the team to develop proposals
· You must be an enthusiastic person with a keen interest in automotive industry, an entrepreneurial nature is essential for you to maximise growth from new and existing customers.
· A new business hunter with a keen eye to identify opportunities and the tenacity to act on them. Strong negotiation skills are essential.
· Good at building and developing relationships at a variety of levels.
· A self-starter who can work independently.
· An excellent communicator, building relationships through excellent rapport and customer service
· A demonstrable track record with a minimum of two years direct sales experience in daily rentals
· A proficient knowledge of the car and commercial vehicle market With an excellent knowledge of what is happening in your local territory
· An excellent understanding of building a strong pipeline
· Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills
· Knowledge of CRM Systems and how they can add value
