My client is long established Fire and Security systems business, one of the most experienced in the south with a strong focus on customer care, engineering excellenceand a commitment to deliverprojects on time and on budget.Company have achieved NSI Gold Status for CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control as well as The BAFE SP203 accreditation for fire alarms.

About the role:

My client is seeking a Senior Security System Project Manager to manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance of the Physical Security Infrastructure through approved service partners. Your main priority will be to ensure the continuity of security technology service and functionality and ‘End of Life’ assessments and project managing remedial works. This will be achieved by managing the selection of service partner(s), service delivery, and overall relationship of the vendor(s) on behalf of the end client.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects ranging £10000 - £300000

  • Manage day to day of operations of security, CCTV, access & Fire

  • Represent organisation’s interests

  • Support other Project Managers with relevant guidance technical support

  • Create, execute and amend work plans according to needs and requirements

  • Carry out RAMS and ensure quality standards are met

  • Keep track of people and progress of projects using IT systems

  • Manage the team

  • Provide weekly reports of the cost and the hours used by the team

  • Analyse project profitability, revenue and margins

  • Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience within Fire alarm and detection systems, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV

  • Experience working on projects within Security and Fire Alarm

  • Commercial awareness

  • Management and leadership skills

  • Ability to motivate people

  • Organisational skills

  • Flexibility to adapt working hours to meet with customer requirements.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence
