Page Personnel are currently recruiting an accounts assistant for an exciting business in Reading. The role will be responsible for managing the sales ledger and cash reconciliations for the group of businesses.
My client is a large business that due to recent substantial growth and recent promotion are looking to grow their large finance team.
This accounts assistant role will involve:
- Posting for sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Bank Reconciliations
- Coding invoices for payment
- Preparation, posting and banking of cheque receipts
- Allocating payments
- Daily banking
The ideal candidate will be:
- Available immediately or on short notice
- Experienced in working in accounts department - ideally with sales ledger and reconciliations
- Able to work with high attention to detail and problem solve
- Ideally educated to degree level or studying an accountancy qualification
