Paralegal Commercial Contract exp
We are looking for a recently qualified Paralegal with experience of working with commercial Contracts
Working in the Client contracts function of a global Brokers you will facilitate the establishment and maintenance of client relationships and customer contract management within the firm, including, but not limited to due diligence, supporting documentation, account opening, account creation and maintenance in on-boarding and systems workflow tools.
The client contracts function is responsible for the administrative and logistical activities related to all customer contracts lifecycle processes.
Supporting the business and liaising closely with legal and compliance personnel, he/she is primarily responsible for the creation, distribution, negotiation, and execution of all customer agreements either in paper form or electronic as well as other customer contract documentation.
Additional responsibilities include responding to queries from and providing contract related advice and guidance to internal and external customers alike.
Using standard-form contract templates and documentation matrixes, prepare, draft, distribute, and diligently administer the contract lifecycle process for all Customer Contract documentation, including drafting contractual terms, amendments and/or schedules, negotiating further terms in line with the parameters set by legal counsel as well as drafting any ad-hoc amendments and/or schedules (i.e. Classification Notices, Brokerage Agreements, Terms of Business etc) as required as part of the Client On-boarding process.
Responsible for being the primary recipient of executed Customer Contracts, checking for alterations in final versions to ensure all required documents are appropriately completed and countersigned by authorised signatory in accordance with the relevant Company and regulatory policies
Effectively manage the maintenance and termination work streams of all Customer Contracts, including the provision of information to brokers and cancellation letters to customers when required.
Conduct new or amended Customer Contracts / legal & regulatory documents gap analysis
Assist various internal teams and Customer's alike to resolve Customer Contract related queries in an efficient and timely manner.
Identify and escalate issues or queries that cannot be answered by reference to standard processes or documents.
