Our client, a growing property business in the City, is currently looking for a progressive Accounts Assistant to join their small finance team.

They are looking for someone with a couple of years of experience behind them which MUST include purchase ledger experience. If you are studying AAT or early stage ACCA this would be a bonus as would knowledge of Sage and/or Quickbooks systems.

Main Duties will include:

  • Recording and processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Preparing payments to suppliers
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Allocating BACS payments and chasing debtors from clients
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Reconcile batch reports from PDQ machine on a daily basis
  • Assist with payroll duties
  • Assist with paper ledger data and filing
  • Calculate staff expenses
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Preparing supplier payments
  • Recording all financial transactions in accounting systems
