Direct Workforce are looking to recruit for a social media/tech savvy individual with strong communication and customer service skills. Interested candidates must be quick learners, with high attention to detail. We’re looking for friendly, team players, able to think on their feet and adopt a creative/innovative approach to digital marketing; able to organise their workload and time effectively, with the drive and initiative to get the job done to the highest standards.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To maintain social media channels – to respond to enquiries and complaints
  • To plan and implement social media posts across multiple accounts.
  • To maintain our internal and external facing websites
  • To create and upload images
  • To plan and write content
  • To add to sites using content management systems
  • To support internal processes by adding various content to the clients’ main internal site
  • To write copy for and send email marketing campaigns
  • To liaise with internal departments and external agencies
  • To contribute, run and take part in social media workshops for members
  • To report on a multitude of internal and external media
  • To support the wider marketing team and company with the promotional processes

Skills/licences/experience required:

  • Customer Service experience is essential
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional content creation skills
  • Social media experience from a professional/work perspective


  • Technical skills in content management and design, including HTML and Adobe PhotoShop
  • Experience in providing online communications and marketing services
  • Understanding of how to manage a brand in a digital environment
