Rocking Zebra are recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Analyst to join a growing team based near Chippenham.
Our client continues to invest in its digital team and having boosted the ranks significantly they are now now looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to support the Digital team in delivering the digital strategy.
You’ll need a head for numbers, be an expert in Google Analytics and a wiz with excel. The role includes ownership and reporting of marketing data to continually improve digital performance. Interpreting data to identify issues and spot opportunities to boost performance, you will be proactive in making recommendations with the ability to present / visualize data in an engaging way.

Background in digital marketing
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail with an ability to understand, analyse, report on and present/visualise data in an engaging way.
Able to turn strategy into action
Great team player
A pro-active attitude with the enthusiasm to execute tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to deliver under pressure and to short deadlines, and cope with changing priorities
Creative eye with attention to detail
Ability to understand marketing performance data and use it to inform future decisions
Knowledge, skills, experience: -
Experience of working with Business Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Core Metrics, WebTrends, Doubleclick, Live Chat, Session Cam, Tag Manager)
Experience of Visualisation tools
Demonstrable advanced level MS Excel skills
3+ years as a digital marketing professional
Experience of tracking Conversion Rate Optimisation
Experience of using multi-channel competitor monitoring tools.
Confident in influencing people and managing projects.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of paid advertising, across PPC, Display, Social Media & email.
Experience of SQL query writing
Understanding of affiliate networks
Experience in regulated industries
Marketing project management experience
Experience in fast growth organisations
Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Analytics and Instagram Key Metrics
Monitoring of key performance indicators and optimisation initiatives to drive visitor and revenue growth.
To provide insight into funnel analysis and user behaviour
MVT and AB testing, including test design, reporting and analysis.
Web analytics design and implementation.
To own digital reporting across all channels.
To interrogate data and optimise online journeys through robust test and learn approach.
To own Google Analytics and other digital reporting tools, ensuring they’re continually audited and tagged correctly.
Build and manage daily, weekly and monthly reports through Google Analytics and other means.
To draw actionable insights which help develop the digital strategy moving forward.
Continually review and refine the sales funnel, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
To ensure all activities are performance monitored and delivered against a financial plan.
To be confident in presenting findings to key stakeholders around the business.
