Cloud Sales Specialist

Salary £30-40k basic (approx. £60k OTE) + benefits & excellent training

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering new business throughout the UK, developing a detailed knowledge of their products and presenting solutions to both IT and business stakeholders. You will be required to develop and maintain customer & supplier relationships and will have responsibility for a monthly Gross Profit margin target.

  • Take autonomous responsibility for developing new Cloud business opportunities.
  • Attend face to face meetings and conference calls with net new customers to understand their Cloud requirements, uncover new opportunities and conduct demonstrations
  • Progress opportunities through the sales life cycle stages in a timely manner and update CRM pipeline accordingly.
  • Working closely with the Business Development Executive and Territory teams on developing new opportunities
  • Attend review meetings with existing customers to review their IT requirements
  • Build up renewal business from existing client base
  • Be a single point of contact for the customer project from start to finish
  • Co-ordinate any meetings between technical and the customer throughout project delivery if needed
  • Submit Post-Sales tasks detailing solution sold for Project Management and Delivery to take over

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience selling cloud solutions is preferable however IT sales or software sales would also be suitable.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, with gravitas and a high level of commercial acumen
  • Ability to understand customer needs and requirements
