Service Care Solutions are currently on the lookout for a Registered Manager to support the running of an Adult Mental Health Residential Service specialising in therapeutic care and support for vulnerable people aged 18+. The post is permanent paying up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

The is a residential service is dedicated to improving the quality of life and skills for individuals with an acquired brain injury. The service specialises in supporting individuals' cognitive, physical and emotional skills and self-esteem post injury. Therapeutic goals are integrated in daily functional activity through measured goals, and through a positive and supportive team. Each individual has a bespoke person centred support plan. Daily activities, goals and programmes are designed to work towards the individuals' long term aspirations, and are staged to maximise success.

The service is comprised of six flats and seven en-suite rooms. The service benefits from spacious living areas including a quiet room, three television rooms, a well-equipped activity room and a training kitchen and diner, as well as the main domestic style kitchen, shared dining room and gardens. The service is level access and suitable for wheelchair users and those with mobility or perceptual needs.

Your main responsibilities will be:
*Day to day management of the residential service in accordance with the policy of the Local Authority and the guidelines laid down by CQC.
*Demonstrating leadership and support your staff to provide the best level of care
*Dealing with any matters that may arise in accordance with current legislation and standards
*Making sure that the highest standards of care are upheld by conducting regular quality assurance inspections and implementing successful placement plans
*All developments and planning within the home
*Manage budgets and year-end reports
*Staff recruitment, training and supervision via training programmes and appraisals
*Risk assessments, planning person-centred care packages and rota management
*Taking the lead on CQC inspections when required
*Helping plan activities for the service users
*Establishing and maintaining good communication with clients, relatives, colleagues and professionals outside of the home
*Ultimately be accountable for delivering high quality care to people within the home, and must have the mind-set that everything you do is focussed on obtaining the best outcomes for each person.

The successful candidate will:
*Have 3 years proven care management experience in a residential setting
*Hold either Registered Managers award plus NVQ4/SVQ4 in Health and Social care or Leadership &
*Management or NVQ3/SVQ3 in Health and Social care plus eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
*Have an excellent understanding of CQC regulations, as well as he ability to lead a fantastic staff team.
*The successful Home Manager will be focused on driving positive change across the residential care home and ensure that support packages meet the expectations of the residents.
