General Manager Beer House , Victoria to £30k bonus
We're looking for an outstanding General Manager to join the team at the Beer House in Victoria Station.

This is a true General Management role. working with a developing team at a busy pub in London. As General Manager, you will be leading your team to deliver outstanding levels of friendly customer service within a branded bar environment specialising in quality craft beers, as well as coaching and developing your people to be the stars of the future.
Ultimately, you will manage the bar and take ownership for the quality of service from your team and the financial performance of your unit - it's as good as running your own business but with the support and fantastic development opportunities of working with a world wide market leading foodservice company.
This fantastic opportunity is based in Victoria Station, a thriving commercial environment serving the travelling public.
The Beer House is SSP's specialist craft beer brand and has been rolling out successfully across major stations in the UK, with it's wide selection of craft beers, ales and lagers and a tempting food menu including delicious pies and cheese boards. The Beer House at Victoria is a busy bar and offers a comfortable environment for customers to retreat to and enjoy their pint of choice.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience of managing a diverse team of people in a high volume bar, licensed restaurant or similar environment. You will also need experience of managing set company or 'brand' operating standards and achieving KPI results. You will also need an awareness and previous experience of the financial controls required when running a unit - cost control and P&L reviews.
