This is an Area Sales Manager role, you will be field based and working from home. Midlands region.

You must have field sales experience in Payments related industries selling to SME, convenience, retail sectors.

Description

This role will involve selling payment services to UK Independent retailers and groups with up to 49 stores.

You would be producing a minimum of 15-20 self generated deals per month in Payments related industries selling to SME, convenience, retail sectors.

Profile

You must have field sales experience with experience in payments related industries selling to SME, convenience, retail sectors. Alternatively will consider other sectors which sell to the same clients, such as utilities, telco to the SME sectors.

  • To be fully responsible for all independent and small multiple company business in the assigned territory from the first point of contact with a potential client through to the successful installation of the payment terminal.

  • To work on a systematic program of prospecting, order conversion, installation, merchandising and training.

  • To negotiate margins and fulfilment criteria with client

  • To meet and surpass all performance targets set by the company

  • To meet and surpass prospecting call rates set by the company

  • To operate effectively and profitably within the assigned territory

  • To provide effective and thorough staff training to all retailers

  • To ensure that point of sale material is utilised by the retailer to achieve optimum results

  • To install terminals in the appropriate retailers to the agreed format

  • To maintain the performance of each retailer to ensure optimum results for the company

  • To introduce new products to existing retailers as and when these become available

  • To look after ongoing account issues as required

  • To ensure that the retailer is fully satisfied with the product and service, and report and assist with any subsequent issues.

Job Offer

£25k salary up to £28k. £3k car allowance. Uncapped commission paid monthly.
