Time Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a large independent mental health provider working closely in conjunction with the NHS in its search for newly qualified or experiences staff nurses for a successful and CSSIW compliant service in Newport.

The service is a specialised centre well renowned in its approach to the treatment and assessment of those with a wide range of neurodegenerative/organic disorders including complex dementia, Huntington's and korsakoff's syndrome with a separate unit for ABI and stroke rehabilitation and caters to those with degenerative conditions inappropriately placed in the justice system.

The hospital has some outstanding facilities and works with the largest multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals in the area offering education services, DBT, occupational health, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and clinical psychology.

The services varies with low risk and medium risk patients with behaviours that challenge but offers excellent staffing levels and support; typically the shift has 3 nurses per unit with an array of support staff and an extensive senior management team.

The company is long standing and was set up 12 years ago as an innovative and forward thinking provider providing specialised colleges in the local community for those with autism and mental health needs working with children and adults alike. A trusted service that offers care to at least 225 patients in the local community across all of its services.

In this role you will build up your admission and discharge skills whilst acting as a named nurse for a select group of patients to ensure your role is patient centric with realistic views of rehabilitation programmes for your patients catering to their needs and promoting independence.
