Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for a large, expanding Leatherhead based company looking for a Finance Systems Project Manager. The position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). It takes full responsibility for the project management and implementation of the Group's finance based systems and the implementation of SAP Business One (Planning Tool). The role will work alongside the Group Financial Controller, the regional finance leads and the SAP implementation team. You will need to have experience of rolling out a large scale ERP system, (ideally SAP, although others are acceptable). You will also have purchase-to-pay and project management experience. This is a permanent opportunity as there is likely to be around 3-4 separate transformation projects each year so there is a requirement to bring this role in house permanently.
Areas of responsibility include:
*Keeps product manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and product manager
*Day to day management of Business Analyst team
*Work with all Business areas to deliver quality, effective software in line with our Agile Development process
*Become a trusted Advisor to key stakeholders within the Business
*Close liaison with the Software development Manager
*Close liaison with Project Managers, Application Testers and process stakeholders
*Implementation and adaptation of analysis tools and methodologies
*Define and agree criteria for project success
*Ensure that solutions delivered align with business and IT strategies
*Prioritisation of tasks ensuring workload is managed
*Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives under direction of the Product Manager
*Adhere to best working practices as defined by industry standards
