Jazz Personnel are currently partnered with a fantastic business services organisation based in state-of-the-art offices in Hartlepool. Our client are currently looking for an experienced Sales Team Manager to join their successful team.

THE ROLE

- Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development

- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible and advising senior management on maximising business relationships

- Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue and expenses control, meeting agreed targets and promoting the firm's presence in the industry

- Ensure that all sales are compliant and adhere with Ofgem regulations

- Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation and control of sales representatives to accomplish specific objectives

- Responsible for monitoring the performace of the sales team by establishing a reporting system and line of communication

- Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performace standards for each member of the sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission scheme

- Personally observe and track the performance of field-based sales representatives

- Provide high standards of ongoing training, absence management and attrition control

THE PERSON

- Previous experience in a Sales Management role (Ideally within the energy sector)

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals

- An accomplished negotiator

- A naturally motivated individual

- Experienced in sales motivation, sales planning, building relationships, managing processes, developing budgets and staffing

THE PACKAGE

- Competitive salary DOE plus attractive team-based commission structure

- Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (Candidates should be open to extended and flexible working in accordance with business needs)
