The role of Purchase Ledger Clerk is a gateway to future opportunity, this being shown by the current divisional accountant started their career in this role. On balance they will also consider candidates, who are quite happy to maintain the Purchase Ledger role.

Main duties will include but are not limited to;

-Ensuring timely receipt of invoices.
-Scanning invoices to the company finance system
-Coding invoices to the relevant departments
-Chasing missing invoice information
-Support weekly payment runs.

As your confidence and ability grows, you will get the opportunity to take on more finance duties and grow your skillset.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working in an office and be keen to progress in to more of an accounts based role.
