Digital Marketing Sales Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading Digital Agency based in Preston the company creates outstanding e-commerce and brochure websites. The company is looking for applicants who have experience of selling digital marketing solutions, i.e. SEO, PPC, Website Design and Ecommerce.
The sales cycle will involve contacting prospects (both self generated and from provided database), with the view to relationship build and close deals. The company specialise in SEO, PPC, Digital Marketing, Website Design as well as IT Support and so sales experience in any of these fields would be essential.

Key Task and Responsibilities

Lead generation via cold calling / networking
Lead prospecting and proposing solutions to potential new clients. Solutions include but not limited to SEO, PPC, Email marketing, Social Media Marketing, Web Design, Ecommerce, bespoke Website Development, Hosting, server maintenance.
Create proposals and marketing material to aid with sales process
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails

Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge of and interest in the digital marketing field
Experience of selling professional & consulting services
Ability to understand & define client requirements and communicate high level solution ideas
Ability to articulate client needs in order to provide actionable requirements to other functions of the business
High level understanding and the ability to discuss basic components in the ecommerce solutions stack i.e. understand why a payment gateway, email service provider, order management, web servers, PCI compliance are core components of a solution.
Understanding and appreciation of the eCommerce platform landscape

Sales Discipline

Enthusiasm for and strong understanding of solution selling, selling professional or consulting services
A track record of seeding and growing new customers
Excellent communicator and facilitator who uses their listening skills and knowledge of the marketplace to effectively link the capabilities/business outcomes and the issues faced by the client.
Sophisticated account planning skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities and build effective approach strategies into prospect clients.
Process driven approach to qualification, sales cycle management and closing deals.
Experience of negotiating complex contract negotiations to desired outcome

In this role, you will be held accountable for

Building, implementing and driving new sales
Prospecting new business, developing existing leads
Acquire new clients and managing, retaining and growing client base
Accurately forecast and manage a sales pipeline
Leverage your existing relationships and create new relationships to evolve our network of partners and clients in the territory

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9-6pm with a salary of 25k - 30k depending on experience plus uncapped commission, holiday entitlement, benefits and free car parking.
