BiGDUG is the UK’s #1 supplier of shelving and storage solutions, and we are growing - quickly! Join our busy Finance team in this diverse role, administer our credit control and purchase ledger brilliantly, and gain some great experience.
What you’ll be doing
In a nutshell, you help everything run like clockwork. From ensuring our purchase ledger is up to date and 100% accurate, to credit control management and bank reconciliation, there is never a dull moment in this role.
With your keen eye for detail you will be inputting invoices onto our finance system, spotting any errors and resolving queries, and will set up new customers with credit terms and conditions ensuring they meet the criteria required.
On time payments is critical to our cash flow, so you will take the lead in liaising with our credit customers, chasing up any overdue payments, resolving queries and discrepancies - all the time ensuring they get the best service from BiGDUG.
What you’ll bring
You’re great with people, and thrive working in a busy and varied environment. Whilst not professionally qualified, you have an understanding of double entry bookkeeping, and some strong credit control and purchase ledger experience.
Our system is pretty unique to us, so we are looking for someone computer literate who can pick up new systems quickly.
Above all, you are someone who works well as part of a busy team, is happy to get stuck in, and show us what value you can bring to our small, but perfectly formed team.
