My client a leading global professional body specialising within the financial services, banking and accounting sectors is currently looking for an Account Executive, Channel Partnerships & Affinity

join their team at their offices in heart of the City of London, Moorgate.

Responsible for the development, management and delivery of all marketing, sponsorship and advertising activity undertaken with key sponsors and affinity partners under your remit. Delivery with a 'best in class’ attitude in order to maximise revenues (commission and marketing) from affinity partnerships and maximise contract renewals from key sponsors. Raising member engagement of key Channel Partnerships is a key facet of the role as well as maintaining and raising the profile of the Channel Partnerships team.

The role holder will be expected to build strong relationships with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that the role holder is able to manage multiple projects, develop multiple relationships and deliver marketing and sponsorships activity via multiple channels simultaneously.

Main responsibilities of role:

Working alongside the Commercial Partnerships Delivery Manager, delivery of our commercial partnership programmes, working within agreed account management principles:

Sponsor Partnerships:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including activity business owners and the Business Development sales team to deliver contracted sponsorship activity effectively whilst ensuring excellent client satisfaction at all times.

Position yourself as the primary contact for the sponsor, taking a proactive and consultative approach for the whole end to end delivery processes, from drafting of contracts through to end of campaign reviews.

To ensure that all contract deliverables are met and the partnership is developed so that it adds value to both the sponsor, leading to measurable client satisfaction and, where possible, repeat business.

To liaise with the appropriate internal stakeholder in order to ensure that project teams (as required) and processes are in place to deliver the contracted activity.Arrange and lead regular client review meetings on campaign performance for duration of contract as needed.

Review existing processes and define new working practices (including 'Commercial Webinars’ in your Product Champion role for the team), sharing knowledge and best-practice to ensure the team and key internal stakeholders are working in a consistent way.

Affinity Partnerships:

Manage a specific portfolio of affinity relationships; including the development of relationships with potential and lapsed partners. Make best use of marketing intelligence to understand their business and marketing objectives and matching these to the activities & plans.

To act as a source of support and information, including best practice and advice on developing plans, advising clients internally on strategy and implementation (e.g. ad copy, speaking content/style, messages and exhibition techniques) where appropriate and opportunities for maximising income generation.

To develop and maintain the appropriate administration and reporting processes in order to effectively plan, implement and measure activities and make recommendations for future commercial activity.

Responsible for achieving budgeted revenue (commission & marketing) for the partnerships under your direct control and relevant financial reporting of these partnerships.

Key Experience Required

Previous account/client relationship management experience essential

Demonstrable previous commercial / partnership marketing experience

Previous event management / delivery experience desirable

Excellent attention to detail

Proven project / time management and multi-tasking skills

Strong interpersonal / influencing skills

Willing to work well as part of a team, with a flexible, can do attitude and work long hours if required.
