My Client is an exciting technology driven financial services business, looking to take advantage of the ever growing FinTech movement. They are developing some ground-breaking tech to help be a market leader in the Life Insurance and Mortgage spaces. Making front to back online acquisition possible and usable. Redesigning the way we buy our most important financial products.

You'll be based at our modern offices in Macclesfield, where they promote a great place to work environment with a fun and dynamic culture t. The office is easily accessible from public transports links and is close to Macclesfield train station.

The Role:
We are in the process of implementing an entirely new style of personal financial management, and are seeking an experienced Paid Search Manager to join our marketing team and help us realise our vision. The role will involve:

o Full responsibility for the entire paid search channel for the business as we bring this back in house from a digital agency.
o Optimising paid media campaigns in order to meet the KPI targets.
o The production and implementation of a weekly, monthly and annual pay per click search income plan in line with defined marketing and commercial business targets and associated reporting.
o Take responsibility for improving PPC ad creative, impression share, quality scores, cost per click, cost per conversion, cost per acquisition, cost of sale, conversion rate factors and bounce rate reduction.
o Working with the wider Marketing Teams to deliver increased sales and optimise conversion through optimum digital customer experience.
o Review PPC technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to grow our search capabilities.
o Accountability for onsite campaign conversion - working with web team to develop landing pages and onsite enhancements to aid conversion.

The right candidate will need these core skills:
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience.
- Previous pay per click (PPC) experience, with a proven track record of B2C acquisition activities and delivering income success.
- Experience of managing and handling multiple PPC accounts.
- Experience of online search including natural search activities - organic search engine optimisation.
- Experience of working with cross-functional teams, plus managing budgets, timelines, stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven track record of optimising paid search web traffic to cost per acquisition or cost of sale targets.
- Proven ability of utilising website analytics / search data to shape an enhanced and profitable customer acquisition strategy.
- Experience in developing digital marketing strategy and structuring search campaign performance.
- Strong analytic skills; including Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Google AdCentre and Bing Adwords. This should include examples of advanced Excel formulae.
- Hands on experience with various analytic tools: E.g. ComScore, Google Analytics, DoubleClick, Dart, Hitwise, and vendor reporting tools.
- Knowledge/experience of e-commerce and booking engine conversion funnels /optimisation.

Desirable Skills:
- Ability to research and identify new digital routes to market and ways to expand existing campaigns. Produce campaign forecasts through to ROI. Ability to implement, evaluate and continuously evolve to drive ROI improvements
- Expert knowledge in all elements of Paid Search from campaign. segmentation and naming conventions, match types and targeting to ad extensions and bid modifying techniques (time, geo, device, etc) to ensure campaigns run efficiently and effectively.
- Experience of completing detailed competitor research and analysis.
- Knowledge of display or re-marketing.
