I am currently recruiting for a successful company based in East London for an experienced sales ledger clerk to join on a temp to perm basis to look after query resolution.  The company are extremely successful in their field and this new position would suit somebody with a background in finance who has an ability to deal with sales ledger and billing queries to support the credit control deprtment.

Duties of the role wil be varied but will include:

Overall responsibility for the dispute log (excel based)
Checking report information is correct and accurate before distributing
Monitor and maintain the credit control queries mailbox
Assisting with cash allocation
Pro-actively dealing with billing issues, solving problems promptly
Liaising with relevant parties to ensure queries are resolved in a timely manor
Check and send credit requests then liaising with credit controller
Dealing with both internal and external parties professionally
Assisting credit control management with weekly reporting

This role would suit somebody with a background in accounts / credit control / sales ledger who has great attention to detail and an ability to liaise with various parties to resolve queries.

Ideally an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be required to perform optimally in the role however the client are hoping to train and develop the successful candidate, appointing them on a permanent basis being the ultimate goal.
