Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
About Capita Electronic Monitoring Service - EMS
Capita Electronic Monitoring (EMS) is part of Capita. EMS is contracted by the Ministry of Justice to provide electronic monitoring services (including 'tagging') across England and Wales.
To support the EMS contract driving Insight and Innovation by understanding patterns which minimise risk, improve experience and bottom line operational performance in the areas of: Operational Improvement, Strategic Improvement and Business Development opportunities. The role will help facilitate discussion within the contract to support decision making and making the right choices through the use of data analytics.
Manage the data assets and add value turning them into actionable insights that deliver financial benefits to the business.
Transform knowledge into applicable insights that drive innovation.
Draw data from numerous sources and use a range of statistical and operational research techniques to discover patterns that provide actionable insight to the business.
Responsible for full data mining process from problem definition and data preparation to testing and successful deployment.
Extract data from the data warehouse using your knowledge of SQL.
Ability to simplify complex data and discuss with senior stakeholders.
Facilitate sharing of intelligence amongst agencies to assist with equipment retention and minimise losses
Excellent level of statistical knowledge
Advanced Excel and intermediate SQL
