The Company
Adecco is working with one of the leading distributors of IT, communication and home entertainment products in the UK They represents over 180 manufacturers in the UK alone spanning more than 38,000 products across mobile, computing and accessories, consumer electronics, gaming, print, networking, servers and solutions, unified communications and AV solutions.

They have recently relocated their business from London to Harlow to their state of the art building, and is looking to find talented individuals to move the company forward through its next stage of growth.

Role Overview
To manage overall commercial and operational aspects of one of CU's largest Key Accounts. To provide a professional service to the customer to include management of end to end supply chain co-ordination, inventory management, forecast analysis and returns process against an agreed level of performance parameters.

Salary and Bonus
The client is offering a salary of between £25-35k including additional a bonus opportunity that is very achievable and has a potential to double in most cases

Role Duties
* Achieve targets set by the Team Manager/Divisional Director.
* Liaise and build relationships with key customer, vendor & internal contacts in order to deliver against customer's high performance expectations
* Monitor overall stock level's. Manage and escalate overstock/under-stock situations & reconcile inventories. This will require management of high level forecasting reviews including historical and future sales data.
* Ensure implementation and complete process execution within given timeframes of all New Product Introductions (NPI's) to ensure a smooth product launch
* Ensure the company's legal requirements are met with respect to the purchase and transportation of goods.
* Manage the return of all stocks including Excess/Aged/EOL/Faulty and ensuring issues are reported both internally and where necessary within the agreed time frames.
* Work closely with the Product Managers in order to make sure all costs of business are included in pricing before submission to customer, including freight and rebates
* Maintain knowledge of internal and external policies regarding returns and both contractual and operational obligations are met for both the customer and the vendor.
* Manage the Inventory co-ordination and allocation ensuring key Account stock requirements are met at all times.
* Strive for both operational & customer excellence to be the main focus at all times.
* Have the ability to fix issues at root cause and to explain root cause and fix as and when required.
* Any ad-hoc duties deemed appropriate by the Manager/Divisional Director Supply Chain & Internal Sales.
* Customer visits to improve relationships when required as well as presenting team achievement per quarter at QBR.
* Ensure that customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion. Where relevant, such matters must be escalated to the Manager/ Divisional Director.

Key Requirements
* Retail distribution experience in operational functions
* Team Management experience
* Distribution operational excellence experience
* Key Account experience in supply chain management
* Well organised and able to undertake project work as required
* Proven ability to implement value-add programs.
* Ability to identify issues at root cause and fix to prevent reoccurrence
* Knowledge and contacts within the CE channel
* Experience with high profile customer(s).
