Children’s Therapeutic Business Developer

Charity in Tipton

Part Time (30 hrs per week)

Fixed Term Contract 6 months (possibly extended much longer)

£24,500 - £26,500 pro rata

Benefits

28 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, flexible working hours, good pension scheme, child care vouchers, health care scheme.

The Company

A diverse charity working closely with children and young peoples’ mental health and emotional wellbeing. They are also passionate about getting to the people in the local area who need physical and emotional support in their lives ranging from pre-natal women and families, all the way through to old age palliative care also.

The Role

This is a really rewarding role for someone who would like to make a difference in the lives of under privileged young people in an area where there is a significant lack of opportunity.

Your main focus will be to go into schools and raise awareness of the creative therapeutic services that the Trust offers. For the first 6 months this will be your main focus but the more income that you bring in for the Trust, the longer your contract could be extended for as they have big plans to go into health services, GP surgeries, fostering and adoption agencies.

You will be picking up on the good work done so far to launch this charity’s therapeutic interventions as a project across schools, capturing those young children early in their lives that most need the support.

The Ideal Person

  • An understanding of therapeutic services/interventions for young people
  • Sales and business development skills – used to working with financial targets
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Budget management experience would be ideal

This will suit someone who has experience of working within a charity before ideally but this is not absolutely essential, just as long as you have a bit of an understanding of how therapeutic interventions work and what they are.

We could do with someone who can interview and start with immediate effect!
