Sales and Marketing Manager

Basildon, Essex

£30,000- £40,000

The Role:

The Marketing Manager will support the Sales Manager with building the sales team, sales strategy, sales articulation of our proposition and ultimately in the closing of business. One of three roles that make up our management team, alongside the Sales Manager and Service & Operations Manager.

The Marketing Manager will deliver measurable, cost-effective results that fuel our vision for growth. Creating effective B2B Marketing strategies, working to a plan and executing multi-channel campaigns with the ultimate goal of meeting lead generation and pipeline growth KPI's. Ambassador for the company brand and supports the MD with the go-to market proposition.


Sales/Business Development

  • Looking for someone from a technology background i.e Telecommunication's, IT, Internet background.
  • Sales activity, generating and ringing qualified leads including content lead generation using email, social media.
  • Managing one member of staff
  • Copywriting is also involved and creative content writing in technology.
  • Develop and deploy sales/marketing strategies to achieve lead generation and pipeline growth KPI's; aligning with and supporting the sales strategy


  • Can create effective and achievable marketing plans; personally organised; can organise the team and external partners to deliver to deadlines
  • Experience of managing, updating, maintaining and developing a company's website
  • A thorough understanding of sales & marketing systems and processes; experience of the full range of business functions and systems, including strategic development, planning and budgeting
  • Proven ability to think strategically, anticipate future opportunities and trends, and incorporate into marketing strategy, proposition and growth plans
  • Responsible for the company's social media presence and its development


Degree or equivalent in a related subject (e.g. Business Studies, Marketing, Economics)

Knowledge and use of applications or software for reporting, manipulating data, scheduling e.g. Excel, Google AdWords / Analytics, CMS, Campaign delivery platforms
