One of the worlds largest and most respected insurers is looking to appoint an outstanding Business Development Manager covering the M4 corridor - they are looking for a successful individual to manage and grow an established panel of leading Brokers.
You will take responsibility for managing and developing the business relationship with an established panel of national and provincial Brokers as well as consolidators across your set territory with the aim of strengthening existing relationships and expanding on market share.
Through regular contact with key stakeholders you will help to cement our clients brand and reputation, keeping Brokers up to date with, products and developments with the aim of gaining opportunities to quote.
You will trade at the highest level, in tandem with underwriting colleagues to secure quality, sustainable business.

They have a reputation for providing excellent standards of customer service and place emphasis on gaining an in depth knowledge of their clients. Experts in the market, they are forward thinking and have strong plans for growth and aim to achieve this by recruiting and developing talented, ambitious staff and rewarding employees with excellent remuneration and support.
Basic salary of between £50,000 - £70,000 plus excellent company benefits.
The successful applicant will probably be an outstanding development professional with a proven track record of delivering commercial growth through relationships formed with commercial and corporate Brokers.
You will have the gravitas to negotiate with senior members of the broking community, across large provincials, consolidators and nationals and the commercially required to make sound business contributions with the support of an experienced underwriting team.
Industry qualifications are an advantage, but essentially a tenacious individual with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, relationship building skills and a solid knowledge of commercial risks is preferable. Individuals from a broking or sales support role and the ability to step in to a field based sales position for the first time may be considered.
