My client is looking for a graduate calibre candidate with proven sales experience to join their small but successful sales team. Working from a B2B database, you will initially generate new business revenue through data sales by telephone whilst building strong professional relationship with prospective customers. This is a nice role where you have the ability to account manage as well as close sales and discover new business opportunities. Ideally you will have financial services knowledge and be able to sell consultatively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working from an existing B2B database and proactively contacting decision maker’s at large consumer brands

  • Working towards weekly and monthly sales targets

  • Introducing relevant products and services, selling benefits and generating interest

  • Sending introductory emails and follow up emails with product information

  • Arranging qualified appointments for existing sales team

  • Introducing relevant products and services, selling benefits and generating interest

  • Ongoing research to identify new prospects - using LinkedIn, trade press, networking etc.

  • Qualification of incoming enquiries

  • Providing support as required on existing accounts

  • Recording all progress accurately on internal database

  • Successful candidates will have proven sales experience and communication skills ideally gained from a B2B telemarketing background.

  • You will be target driven, a self-starter and a motivated team player.

  • You will have a consultative approach and good listening skills, with the ability to use effective questioning to understand clients’ needs and tailor sales pitch accordingly.
