Our reputable and thriving client based in Huntingdon are looking to recruit a Sales Leader to join their busy Management Team.

As Sales Leader the successful applicant will manage the on-property Sales to achieve individual goals and have responsibility for achieving defined property revenue goals, ensure client and employee satisfaction and make recommendations on direct reports goals where applicable.

Duties will include:

  • Lead on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based client relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.

  • Implement agreed key sales initiatives and ensure execution of sales and marketing strategy and programs.

  • Oversee all day to day activities of direct reports.

  • Provide team leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential; set example with personal goals.

  • Proactively develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Analyse market information by using sales systems and execute strategy to achieve goals.

  • Display leadership in customer service and create a positive example for client relations.

  • Interact with clients to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels; effectively respond to and handles client complaints.

  • Empower colleagues to provide excellent sales and customer service.

  • Establish guidelines so direct reports understand expectations and parameters.

  • Ensure direct reports receive on-going training to understand client expectations.

  • Observe sales and service behaviours and provide feedback to individuals and/or managers; continuously striving to improve service performance.

  • Interview and hire new employees with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.

  • Develop, implement and maintain a departmental orientation program for new employees to receive the appropriate training to successfully perform their job.

  • Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position and monitor progress.

  • Responsible for daily management of Sales budget

  • Understand the impact of the department’s operation on the overall financial goals

    Excellent communications skills required and must be computer literate, and previous sales experience is required for this role.
