Due to huge expansion my client is now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager who has extensive knowledge of security - particularly in Manned Guarding

You will be responsible for the growth of the business through tactical business development and sales covering the area between London and Manchester geographically

You will have a proven record of strategic planning and implementation of growth within the security industry and be able to see the sale through start to finish; from tendering to negotiation, pre-qualification to contract implementation

You'll work closely with all Sales staff to achieve budgeted profit levels by monitoring performance and targets

Based in the East Ham offices you're basic responsibilities will be:
* Developing new business and servicing client needs
* Identifying new business opportunities through market research and generate fresh new leads
* Producing bids for new business
* Secure new business via successful sales negotiation
* Identify areas of opportunity within existing client accounts
* Arrange your own appointments to meet with potential clients face to face
* Maintaining drive and motivation to smash targets and KPIs

To be successful in this role you must have proven sales success and be able to provide references to back this up. You will also have a very good knowledge of the security industry especially within Manned Guarding
