Receptionist Supervisor required for an Award-winning Prestigious 4 star venue!

Based in the heart of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.. Nr Hatfield

Successful candidate will have experience working within a quality hotel or similar establishment

£18,500 per annum. Working a 40 hours week, flexibility will be required with this role. You will be working either 8 hour shifts 5 days out of 7.
the shift pattern will be 06.30-14.30 and 12.00-20.00 and weekend shifts will be 08.00-16.00 and 12.00-20.00 these shifts will be over a 4 week rota.

My client is a hugely successful 4 star hotel with a 2AA rosette accredited restaurant and popular wedding venue with amazing conference & banqueting facilities.

Due to their continued success and growth my client are now recruiting for an experienced Receptionist Supervisor.

Purpose of the role
Your primary objective will be to staff and supervise the reception and reservation department independently and effectively in the absence of the The Reception Manager. To perform front of house tasks using the front of house systems to agreed operation standards.

Essential Qualifications

- At least 2 years previous reception experience within a quality hotel.
- Knowledge of all front of office systems.Ideally Opera.
- Previous Supervisory experience
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Drive and have your own transport due to the location.

Key Responsibilities

- Meeting and greeting guests in a warm friendly professional manner.
- To be senior team member of the reception and reservation department.
- Supporting the Reception Manager.
- To manage IT requirements of the reception desk including working with Microsoft Office.
- Dealing with guest’s queries and issues.
- Attend to all routes of room bookings, for example on line, phone and in person.
- Deliver an excellent Customer Service.

Person Specification

- Excellent Communication skills.
- Excellent standard of presentation.
- Have a calm disposition.
- Ability to multi-task
- Your own transport due to the location and hours required to work.
